Following 30 years of award winning apartment development, design, strategy and innovation leadership, Rob is widely recognized as an industry thought leader. With a 100% entitlement success rate on over 15,000 units in high barrier to entry US markets, Rob consistently generates market leading returns at below market cost bases, providing a permanent competitive advantage to his investors. In addition to conventional apartment assets, Rob is also the US Patent Inventor for the proprietary Madison Highland live/work lofts building conversion and construction method and apartment operating system that has become the basis for this industry re-defining asset type. Prior to founding Madison Highland Live/Work Lofts, Rob was the founder and CEO of Highland Square Holdings, founder and CEO of Novus Residences, LLC; an award winning, DC based, apartment and live/work development and operating company and Head of National Product Design and Senior Vice President of Mid-Atlantic and Southeast Development for Archstone, a premier apartment industry REIT.

Scott Lanz

Managing Construction Principal

Scott Lanz is responsible for all Madison Highland construction management activities, and has personally overseen the construction of all Rob Seldin related developments since 1999. One of the most widely respected leaders in mid-Atlantic and Southeastern apartment construction, Scott has personally overseen the design and construction of over 50 residential and hospitality projects representing a total construction value in excess of $4 Billion. While many of Scott’s projects have received industry awards for design, lease-up and innovation, all of Scott’s projects benefit from his signature attention to every last detail and his renowned humility, helping create permanent value both today and tomorrow.

Amy Seldin

Vice President of Design

Amy Seldin is responsible for coordinating all day to day operations of Madison Highland as well as directing our marketing efforts and serving as the chief style guide. With a BA in Economics and English from UNC Chapel Hill and a Master of Architecture degree from Georgia Tech, Amy has previously led design and marketing operations for a diverse clientele over a broad spectrum of industries.


Amer Hammour

Executive Chairman

Amer Hammour is Executive Chairman of Madison Marquette and heads all real estate operations and investments for its parent company Capital Guidance in the US and internationally. As founder of Madison Marquette, he is responsible for setting the company’s investment strategy and leads its growth and capital relationships. Over the past 38 years, Amer has completed — on behalf of Madison Marquette, Capital Guidance and its subsidiaries — over 200 real estate investments in retail, office, land and industrial projects and developments valued at over $8 billion. Amer holds a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MS in Business Administration from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.

Jim Evans

Principal, Capital Markets

Jim is a 30-year veteran of the real estate investment management business with extensive capital markets and investment experience. He leads Madison Highland’s Capital Markets efforts. Formerly with The Roseview Group, a boutique institutional real estate investment and advisory company based in Boston, Jim has raised more than $5 billion of capital from institutional investors for a wide range of real estate investment vehicles, including funds, joint ventures and operating companies. During his career, Jim has invested more than $1 billion of equity in all property types across all major markets through a variety of structures. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science from Suffolk University and completed his course work for a Master of Arts in Urban and Environmental Policy from Tufts University. He serves on the Dean’s Advisory Committee at Suffolk University and is a member of Pension Real Estate Association.

Daniel Feutz

Director, Investments

Daniel Feutz is responsible for overseeing Madison Highland’s financial analysis and due diligence. Daniel has over 5 years of real estate experience including acquisitions, development, leasing, and construction management. Prior to Madison Highland, Daniel worked for Wright Runstad in Seattle WA where he assisted in managing the development of over 1 million square feet of mixed-use space. Daniel is a former member of the San Francisco carpenters’ union where he worked on numerous commercial construction projects. Daniel holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from The College of Wooster and a graduate degree in Real Estate Finance from Cornell’s Baker Program in Real Estate.
